Detailed description of project

The project aims to develop a System for the monitoring and design of projects and actions at the city and neighbourhood level, with the citizen’s canter, the environment and the quality of life. The involvement and participation of the public and users of the public space is essential and decisive. The system consists of three (3) basic platforms for management, interaction and analysis. The final product is a modular system. The core of the system is the participatory design platform with the other two operating supportively and reinforcingly, as well as autonomously. The project develops an infrastructure for the integration of IoT sensor data into the participatory design platform.

Type and scope of work provided

The scope of services provided by DOTSOFT include the following:
– IoT devices identification, purchase, setup and monitoring
– Development of IoT open data platform for monitoring environmental data and data about road traffic
– Development of Open Data Portal for all involved datasets
– CMS for setting ISO 37120 Key Process Indicators
– CMS for setting up Budget and Projects management plan
– Collection of citizen data through mobile application and support for Crowd Sourcing activities
– Dashboards development for: IoT data, KPIs, Budget and Projects monitoring for a local government and civil society
– Pilot applications at local government
– Dissemination and exploitation activities (workshops, conferences, scientific papers, networking, social media announcements)
