Detailed description of project

The DEVIATE project is centered on transforming retail intelligence through the integration of AI-powered video analytics for real-time consumer behavior assessment. By combining deep learning, computer vision, and demographic modeling, the platform processes image and video data to extract actionable insights about consumer profiles and their interaction with products on retail shelves. Utilizing RGB cameras and advanced neural networks—including convolutional and LSTM architectures—DEVIATE enables automated detection of customer presence, movement patterns, gender, and age estimation within store environments.
